Karma Flexx Junior Aluminum Child Wheelchair

Configurable Seat Dimension

Adjustability plays a key role in pediatric wheelchairs. The Flexx Junior offers 10-14 inches adjustment on the seat width and 11-15 inches on the depth. The seat to floor height is also configurable from 13 to 18 inches, depending on the caster and rear wheel size. The backrest angle can be adjusted from -4° to 16°.

Children function at different physical activity levels. With this in mind, the Flexx Junior comes with 20 different rear wheel axle positions to choose from. Configure the rear wheel axle position for optimal performance, customizing the degree of maneuverability and stability of the chair. Children can explore their environment based on their own unique requirements.

Adjustable Push Handle

No need to lean over to push the wheelchair. The height adjustable push handle is attendant friendly and can be configured according to the attendant’s preference.

Adjustable Flip-Back Armrest

The height of the armrest is adjustable. A proper armrest height is helpful to relieve loads on the neck, shoulders and arms and alleviate stress on the back. The flip-back feature makes it easy to get on and off the wheelchair or roll closer to a table or desk.

Detachable Swing-Away Footrest

Allows for easy transfer, on and off the wheelchair and detaches with no tools required.

90 degree Legrest & Adjustable Footplate

The footplate can be set to multiple different positions and angles.

Backrest Options

The standard tension adjustable backrest can be configured according to each individual’s needs. The seat to back angle is adjustable from -4 to 16 degrees. The backrest frame is ergonomic and compatible with a wide range of aftermarket backrests.

Easily Disassemble for Transportation

The Flexx Junior can be easily disassembled for transportation. Without the rear wheel and footrests, it is only 8.6 kg. The compact design is ideal for a family which needs a simple, lightweight wheelchair for short trips

Adjustable Rear Wheel Axle

By changing the position of the rear wheel axle, you change the center of gravity of the wheelchair and thus changing the performance of the wheelchair. Moving the rear wheels back will increase the base area, therefore making the chair most stable. Moving the rear wheels forwards will decrease the base area, allowing the caster to roll and swivel more easily. The ideal position is based on the individual’s weight, height and strength. By changing the center of gravity, the Flexx Junior can be configured to meet the preference of the user.
